To all my loyal readers plus those not so much: forgive me for being AWOL. I didn't even respond to comments made on my last post. Nor might I reply to any on this one. I will read them, rest assured.

It's been a busy week. My sister from Virginia has been here, and I really don't like to abandon her with my nose in the computer. But we've been working daily on my father's house painting, stripping wallpaper, cleaning kitchen and baths, clearing yard overgrowth, etc. My chainsaw has worked overtime, my back aches. Slowly, but surely, the place is shaping up. I could kill the previous owner for letting things go to rack and ruin.

See, my Dad and mother bought, remodeled, and lived in this very house for 15 years before selling it (in '81). Now, at age 91, my father has bought it back and is attempting to restore it to the way it was. No easy task. we three children are doing what we can to help. So that's where I've been all week (and next).

I'll try to be more faithful to my fellow mybloggers-ites when the job is completed, my garden is done, and golf is over. What, in November?!!
