Not that I can determine any obvious results, I'm a believer in taking coenzymeQ10 as a boost to good health and longevity.
When I started taking red yeast rice (years ago) to lower my cholesterol (It's a natural statin--a substitute for Lipator, for example), I was told to include CoQ10 in my pill arsenal.
Natural body production of CoQ10 is reduced when taking statins.
And why take CoQ10? It's a natural enzyme that decreases with age. Its benefits are (supposedly) numerous. For one, it is said to increase life span (according to rats).
It also lowers blood pressure. And it's heart healthy, as it is concentrated in the heart and blood. Coq10 also lowers cholesterol.
Now why my BP and cholesterol remain relatively high, I wonder how much higher they would be without CoQ10?
I'm convinced (from what I've read) it's important I should be taking it.
Google it and see if it's right for you. It's over-the-counter and not too expensive.
