My husbands cell phone rang last night at 10:00pm. We had both just fallen asleep. The caller was our friend who owns a snow removal company. My husband plows part time in the winter and our friend was calling to say that a snow accumulation was expected and that my husband might have to plow.

I had not watched the weather all weekend. March had brought southeastern Michigan only and inch of snow, which happened while I was down south... so I didn't have to actually witness it, tee hee. But anyhow... I thought we were done with snow. I really did.

Then the alarm went off this morning and there was significant snow on the ground with a possible 5-10 inches accumulation throughout the day. HUH???!!???

Since my children's commute to school is 22 miles (one way) and my husbands commute to work is more than twice that, we declared a self appointed snow day. Everybody is staying home for the day.

I can't even look outside. It's so depressing!
