Whoa! I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last entry.

I got sick again about 3 weeks ago... just a really REALLY bad sinus cold that had me in bed for three days. My immune system was still weak and anything I caught just knocked me down. And I was down for about a WEEK!

Finally though my doctor says ... I am fully recovered. My hemoglobin count is somewhere over 12 (which is normal for women) and I really do feel like I'm back to my good health. I had all my annual tests and screenings done. I had my ob/gyn appt, my mammogram, my skin cancer screening, my lipid profile blood draw AND my dental check up. I went to to the hospital for tests and/or to a doctors appt 5 times one week. It's crazy, lol.



Last week, I went to visit my parents for a week and that was wonderful. Hanging out with my Mom was just what my soul needed.

And so, I've really just been trying to take care of myself and my family lately. I was sick for so long with no energy and I really want to focus on my kids who were so great and helpful while I was recovering. They are starting LaCrosse and Soccer soon and I look forward to being at their games.

I also look forward to catching up to what MyBloggers folks have been doing and I'll be reading blogs as time permits.
