Waiting is the Hardest Part
I'm currently waiting for my lungs to recover from my recent chest cold. This one isn't as bad as the one over Thanksgiving but as always, a chest cold means no exercise. After gaining yet another 7lbs over the holidays, I'm anxious to workout to shed that bulging middle that's popping buttons.
I'm also waiting to get back to work to earn a decent paycheck. I've been waiting on this for over six months. I've had a few job offers but none that compared to my EDD check. Sure it sucks to be on a super tight budget, but more so to work hard for the same check as I get right now. The waiting is hard but sometimes fighting off the budget blues is even harder. But I'm willing to wait for a good job. Crossing fingers that 'perfect job' is just around the proverbial corner.
And my new year's resolution is to flirt my way through the year. I spent 2010 waiting for mr. right and pining over being single, and it got me nowhere. So instead, I'm going to enjoy being an amazing, sexy, single woman. Just because I have yet to find a boyfriend, doesn't mean I have to spend the coming year completely alone. So to quote Spicy's blog title, bring on the frogs, I've got some kissing to do!!!
