Trying to Find Some Zen
Work has gotten out of control. Most of my co-workers are so stressed it's been really hard to keep my cool. Everything is an emergency to them. When in truth none of it is.
Which is what I need to realize about my childhood friend's visit. I went over to Thom's after my tax appointment (a dismal year for me in refunds, btw) to pick up my vacuum. He had a box of black licorice in the handle of the vacuum that he had meant to give to me for Valentine's Day. mmmm, licorice.
He also had his electric razor ready to go so I could trim up his mohawk so when he meets my friend this weekend his appearance will be even more shocking. Awww! He's so very thoughtful. He told me that I should walk straight up to him and give him a big kiss before I introduce them and I told him to grab my ass for an added effect.
When I told one of my gf's this, she laughed and said I should have fun with it by shocking my conservative friend.
I'll try to keep you updated on any comedic events.
