My charity 10K is 12 weeks and 5 days away. And it's time to get a trainin'.
I fell way behind last week after hitting The Wall on Tuesday. My body was especially tired and Saturday I felt ill. My t.o.m. was brutal this month and royally kicked my butootie. I got in my regular two spin classes but no running. I put on my running shorts on Saturday, walked out of my apartment, still felt stomach pains, and went back inside and laid down on the couch.
I felt pathetic this weekend but I think something I ate at a friend's small dinner party made my stomach cramp for the past couple days.
I plan to run in the park after work... it's chilly this week with highs of 67. According to my training schedule, I just have to run 2 miles tonight. I may try for 2mi run, 1mi walk, 1mi run to make up for last week.

My weekend was too short but I did get to hang out with TBD and Sassee at her new place on Friday night. I also went to my first Derby Dolls - Roller Derby tournament on Saturday night. That was a lot of fun to watch! I hope to make it out for the next one. Those girls are awesome and fast!
And I got a lot of kitty time with Sarge and Rigby. I made sure to give them lots of love this weekend since I've been so busy. Rigby has even taken to sitting next to me on the couch which is a special treat for me from my "don't hold me" princess cat. Sarge has a new ritual to jump up to the counter to rub noses with me when I'm in the bathroom.
I wouldn't trade them for any man... even a nice one with allergies. LOL
As far as training, kudos girl. I think you are AMAZING, but this you know.
