
My Training is going well. I completed 6 miles this morning with the running group (so happy they showed up today since they skipped on Tuesday). I feel like I'm making good progress and considering where I was just two years ago, I'm making huge progress from being a couch potato.
I'm planning another long run this weekend before I "taper" my training for the Half Marathon that is just three weeks from this Sunday. Taper means doing shorter runs so that you have more pent up energy for race day.
Just one of the many things I have learned these last six months. Wow, I've only been a runner for 6 months.
And soon I'll be a Marathoner - Half, of course, I'm crazy but not that crazy. *wink
