New Running Buddy
I've got another busy Saturday planned.
Tomorrow morning at about 7am my new running buddy, Jackie is picking me up to run in Griffith Park. She's never run there and we've never run together. Should be interesting. She's gonna start the run with me and then chill after about 6-8 miles and let me finish my last 4-5 to complete 10-11 miles for my Half training.
We're gonna compare her Garmin Forerunner to my Nike+ Ipod for pacing and distance calculations. What runner geeks we are. LOL
And then we'll have brunch. Food, glorious food! Especially after a long run.
Saturday night, Thom and I are going to a big Halloween party. He found a goth dress in his costumes and wants me to try it on. Not sure what to think about this dress. He said he bought it, it should fit me, and that it's never been worn but I'm wondering if he bought it for his ex and she didn't like it. I hope there's no bad juju associated with this dress that's been in his closet for who knows how many years.
But he seemed excited about it, so I'll be a good girlfriend and try it on and if the dress fits, I'll wear it to the party to make him happy.
I don't really have a costume anyway or the funds to purchase new items. I do have my Moulin Rouge pink corset that I was gonna wear with black shorts, tights, boots, striped gloves, straighten my hair and apply black mask eye makeup ala Pris in BladeRunner.
Not really a costume by name but a costume nonetheless. LOL
