Run for Mobility
My week at work has been exhausting. I'm trying to not let it bog me down and take away my race energy but there's been a definite struggle to keep my stress levels low.
I did however get some uplifting, positive energy this morning from additional donations to my charity run from friends! So far I've raised over $1,000 for The Free Wheelchair Mission.
Again, thanks to a few of my friends on here! I'm so blown away from the support that I still get from friends and co-workers. Of course my family is a different story... I think they are still in shock or denial that I run races.
In a way, I am too.
In preparation for Sunday, I only ran 2 miles this morning. I got hugs all around from my Tues/Thurs runner girls since I won't see them for about a week.
In the meantime, trying to get through the next two work days and hopefully I'll get to leave for lunch today and tomorrow. Too bad I can't call in sick for one of my three job duties. LOL!
