Run Lola Run
First off, I love that German Flick. And now I can aspire to run like Lola in the film.
I started my official training last night (a day late due to the Full Moon making this period a tough one). My running friend E joined me to motivate me to run last night and got me doing some additional step ups on one of the park benches. It was a great workout! And I needed the push... yes, sometimes I need a little motivation too. *wink
I found a training schedule on runners world dot com that custom makes a schedule based on a previous race time, how many weeks you have to train, what type of race, what date you want to start and how hard you want to train. It's the coolest thing ever! Okay, for a runner about to train for a half marathon, it's the coolest thing ever. LOL
I also really want to buy the pre-printed souvenir t-shirt:
Since I'll have to save up the money and make sure I don't go broke buying it at the same time as my bike, I have time to pick out my personalized phrase for my shirt. I've been thinking about some of my motto's during my weight loss journey: Weight-loss Junkie, Never Say Never, Everything in Moderation, Small Changes Make Healthy Habits, and my personal new favorite: See Jane Run.
I always liked the adventures of Sally, Dick and Jane from the first grade readers. Silly Silly Jane. LOL
Of course, I'm always open to suggestions.
