Metro Persona
I had a blast commuting to work via my bike and the Metro train. On my home from work I took a detour on a bike path for about 6 miles before getting back to the train station. I was smiling as I texted a friend about digging my bike, when a strange young man decided that the bike short wearing, helmet on, ipod blaring, texting girl would be ideal to chat with.
I kept looking at him like, "what do you want?" But it was too late as he had already seen me smiling. My bad.
He tagged along, talked ALOT and when he asked for my email address even though I mentioned my boyfriend often, I point blank told him, "I'll talk to you, Dude, but I will not give you my email address." He said he respected that. He was a little too friendly and I need to remember to have the Metro persona ready in place before I descend the escalator.
My Achilles Tendon is still tweaked so I'm off the bike and off running for another week to allow it to heal. I've been icing it and stretching it.
I'm approaching my two year anniversary from starting my serious weight-loss goals and my one year anniversary for maintaining the weight-loss.
It's really hard for me to not be active right now.
