I'm back to work today which is fine since I have the rest of the week off and it brought a change to my lonely christmas holiday.
I had four and a half days off and was unmotivated to clean and re-organize my clothes as I had planned to do. I was cold, I ate too much, and I tried to exercise it all away. All my friends had family in town or were out of town so I spent most of my time alone. Except Saturday when I ran five miles with Jackie and we had brunch after which was really nice.
I did however, get the best gift from my lil sis in the mail on Saturday: A Hoops & Yoyo Talking Coffee Mug which makes me giggle. I should have brought it to work today to cheer me up.
Thom comes back to town tomorrow morning but I'm so stressed about being broke and him being broke that I cannot even enjoy that prospect at the moment. But I do really miss him and will be happy to see him tomorrow. Plus rumor has it our paychecks will go in direct deposit tomorrow instead of Thursday. Crossing Fingers.
Maybe having six days off and ringing in the New Year with Thom will take away my blues.

THIS IS VERY NORMAL IN THE YOUNGER YEARS OF THE HOLIDAYS BLUES. AS YOU AGE THIS WILL ALL CHANGE.I USED TO HAVE THE BLUES AFTER THE HOLIDAY.BUT NOT ANY MORE.NOT INTERESTED AND COULD CARE LESS. THEY CAN HAVE IT.WHO NEEDS IT.I DON'T.
