Date with My Spin Bike

Had a great time on Sunday but I missed dinner with my girlfriends as they had to reschedule.

I did have a funny/strange moment with TBD. I arrived after Spin Class at his place where we had a languid and unhurried afternoon together. He made a yummy vegetable omelet with fried potatoes and we enjoyed several mimosas as well. After we walked his dog we watched the History Channel and made fun of all the diamond commercials.

We talked about how ridiculous a gift like that would be. And then I told him that I turned down dinner with some friends as I had a date with a spin bike as Valentine's Day is on a Thursday... and Thursday's are a spin night for me. I even said, "F*%! Valentines Day, it's such a sell-out holiday."

About fifteen minutes go past and he walks me to my car and asks what I'm doing on Thursday and when I get out of Spin Class. Huh? TBD was asking me out on Valentine's Day?

I told him that since he's going to have a busy week with lots of overtime that we could hang out next weekend. I could tell he struggling against his own rules of only seeing me once a week but I told him that he could call me if he got off work early sometime this week.

Uh, men! Even in my thirties I have no idea what goes on in their heads.

But I do like spending time with him and I always have the best trophies after wards, like the bite/hickey on my neck. It gives me something to think about while I'm at my desk job. LOL

gotta love when people really show you how much they listen... 'course I know a lot of women who say one thing and mean another and maybe he thought you were one of 'em?

I am sure you will have a great time and FEEL great so it's all worthwhile hey?
I always dreaded V-day and being single but I must say I admire your attitude!

I am jealous as there is a lack of "chemistry" going on in my myriad of situations....
