My run tonight had me struttin' my stuff on my walk back to my car.
I was so nervous to run again after hitting the Wall on Tuesday morning. But I went to the park after work determined to get back to my training.
I ran 2 miles, walked half a mile and ran another mile. My last mile I did in 10min 33sec. That's a record for me since I usually run my miles at a pace of 11-12min.
I do have a love/hate thing for my nike plus tracker. There's way too many quirks with it. Calibration, placement, sync, pausing, etc... it's almost more of a pain than its worth.
But on my last lap I set it to track 1 mile and it gave me the half way point and the 400 meter countdown which was fun and I felt so successful when it announced that I reached my goal. Victory!
So I'll keep the sucker and use it in my training.
