I'm still sick :pout:pout: I called my doctor's office to see what I should do next because I can't be a coughing bridesmaid.

Yep, I'm gonna be a bridesmaid in less than two weeks for MereOnAir (in case you had read her blog on blogster years ago). The first time I have ever consented to being a bridesmaid, by-the-way. Here's the dress I got - in truffle brown. The store where I tried it on didn't have it in brown. Had to drive down to Long Beach on Friday just to get the dress in the right color in the right size. I'm having it shortened to knee length since I'm so short in comparison to the model wearing it on the right. Not sure which styles the other bridesmaids/maid of honor chose but we needed to get a knee length style in truffle brown, chiffon. This style was on sale. Score!




I get to stay with my lil sis while I'm there as they both live in the same city. Mere is still working to get me a free ticket to get there. Hoping not to have to buy the five hundred dollar plane ticket myself when I'm unemployed. Yep, cutting it close to the wire on this whole trip. Last minute dress, last minute alterations, last minute shoes, last minute plane ticket. It's got disaster written all over it. Might be the best little vacation I'm taking this year.
