So my friend Jay is helping me pick out a bike that he can get me a deal on:

I have no idea how to pick a bike. I like the idea of the first bike as it's called the Urban Green. Perfect for a little city gal such as myself who will be using it to commute to work. LOL
I talked to TBD last night and we're going to have lunch tomorrow at a Creole place. Yum, deep fried catfish. And he talked about going with me on a run... with him riding his bike next to me while I train for the half marathon. I'm so happy that he's expressing an interest in doing something active with me outside.
I'd try to encourage him before to go hiking with me. And I knew that my getting a bike would bring the potential of us going on bike rides together. But I didn't think he'd want to help me train. He used to be an avid mountain cyclist.
I think it worried him that I'm doing this half marathon on my own. My friend Aron felt the same. I guess the guys in my life don't realize how determined and strong I really am.
But then they haven't heard of MrsStu's term: S.I.K.A.W.
Strong Independent Kick Ass Woman - More than a term of endearment.
