First off, I got the Nike+ tracking system on Friday night but when I went to use it on Saturday I couldn't get the device to turn on.
Turns out that you hold the little button for 3 seconds to put it to sleep to conserve the battery and tap it to wake it up. So I kept putting it to sleep. I ended up running the 2 miles without the tracking device. *rolls eyes at myself* But I loaded the soundtrack to Run Lola Run and it was perfect running music!
I'm hoping Nike+ will get me out training more than twice a week and for longer stretches. I seriously need to put myself on a new workout schedule so that I will run more. I also need to drop that third spin class and a strength training day as my thighs are not getting enough of a break. Ah, the complications of my life. LOL
It's better than thinking about the complications of TBD. Let's just say that he always has me in a state of confusion. At least he finally called me on Saturday and deflated most of my tension with encouraging words about my taking on a 10K and how amazing I am. Yes, I'm a pushover.
I just need a little attention from the guy I'm seeing. Otherwise what's the point? LOL
