We held our annual Spring fling Fly-In. It looked bad for a while but the rain held off long enough for everyone to have a good time. Our club President Patrick and our head cook served up some spaghetti and meatballs with garlic toast, and it was great. We normally have hot dogs and burgers, or Bar-B-Que, so this was a welcome change.
Here are just a few pictures,,

Thats Kevin, above, with his new Extra 260 the same one I want to get when I retire and if my eye problem works out ok.

Thats Patrick letting a youngster draw the winning ticket for our Prize. Thats Buford looking bored with the prize. Buford is 75, still flies, and is a past president of the club.

Thats Andres who won the prize, don't let the small box fool you, it is a $300 radio setup.

OK, thats me the one eyed wonder on the left, with Our club president. We were presenting Honorary membership to one of our older long time members who can no longer fly due to his health. He was thrilled with the honor. My eye doctor said that because of the band on my eye I would get a droopy eye lid. Looks like he is right!
