Wednesday Blah`s

I found the above image while surfing the Internet the other day, and thought it was pretty cool, being ex artillery.

There are times, when all I want to do is sit around, talk to Jester, surf the Internet, and wait till I get my orders from Pat.

Today I decided to do something, anything. So I got the hose out, some towels, bucket sponge, and car wash soap and washed the Scion. It is almost Love Bug season, and anyone in Georgia or Florida know what that means. Those nasty little black bugs doing their thing in mid air, and spattering into the car as you drive. There is something about them that if you don't wash them off in a day or less, the Love Bug guts will start to eat into your cars paint.

Once the wash job was done, I figured I better start to get a good coat of wax on the Scion, because it is as aerodynamic as a brick.

It took some time, but I got the wax on and all buffed out, then put a second, then third coat on the nose, all the flat areas where those little buggers will spatter their self's.

This image of a old Huey just about sums it up for me, how I feel sometimes. Old, used, worn out, and have done everything that I can do.

I look at that picture, and wonder about "It's" Glory Days. Everyone, and everything has them. The highlights of its life, or career. I have examined my own enough, and when I see a picture like the one above, It get me to thinking, and sometimes that can be a dangerous thing for me.

Anyway, I see Cindy Loo Hoo has surfaced, good to see her again, that gal is always busy. I think I will see if I can locate Paulie Walnuts, and see just what he has been up to.

Very cool banner, Bob! I'm glad I don't live in Florida. There would be no paint left on the car!

I didn't know the bugs that splattered were love bugs. I just remember driving through Oregon and having them all over the place.
