Another day and one less day to work. On March 28th I will turn 59, and I can begin my 365 countdown to retirement. Well it will be a little more than 365, I have to work the entire month of March 2009 to retire. But anytime after April 1st 2009 I can go.

I told Pat that I can last one more year, I have worked for this company for the past 39 years, 40 this October.
I counted down a year before, when I was in Vietnam. So I can do it again.

Easter is over, Pat went overboard again, (I guess thats what you gals do on holidays) Ham, and just about everything you could think of to go with it. The fridge is now so full you have to unpack it to find what you are looking for.

I had my eye checkup last week, and the doc said that a "little" scar tissue is forming again, and pulling on the retina. He then said I may need a third operation.

I got a post card the other day from Paulie Walnuts.

Just why is Paulie in Wyoming? I don't know if I really want to know!!
I did receive this newspaper clipping a day after the post card arrived.


Wednesday I am going to the flying field with our Club President and my good friend Patrick, we are going to do a little experiment, we are going to see if I can fly with one eye! This should be interesting. I haven't flown my plane in about 6 months and I am sure I am as rusty as rust can be. I will let you know how things go.
