Awol

As Joe Walsh (and one of my favorites)from the James Gang, and The Eagles would say, "How Ya Doin'?"

I have been staying off the computer lately, and I think it has helped. Much to Pat's enjoyment, I have only been going on line in the morning to check emails for the club, and after work to, check emails.

The last eye operation was a doozy, I think the doc did more than he admits to. at my 2 week follow up visit he said the pressure was too high in the eye, causing clouding of the eye hence, no vision at all. With a new $20 bottle of Rx eye drops, that has been cleared up. I am making out shapes, colors and can tell a car from the mailbox! The vision is still distorted, because of no lens, and looking through a silicone oil bubble that was put in the eye. The next visit is on the 12th, and we well see what we will do next.

Life goes on, every day is a day closer to retirement, and another day I realize that I am ready for that. After 40 years (this October) I am ready.

Jester got his summer "Buzz cut" so he won't over heat. His fur is so thick, even the dog groomer was commenting on it. They had to cut his hair, give him a bath, dry, cut some more and repeat the process three times.

Summer is here in Florida, in the 90's every day, some rain, and the humidity is back.

So I will leave you with a little Joe Walsh, and the Eagles, don't worry there is no sound at the beginning of the video clip.

I hope your eye clears up soon. I have had cataract surgery on both of my eyes and have an auto immune thing that affects my eyes as well. It's always scary when the vision isn't good, so I sympathize with you.

Welcome back to the diner!! Paulie and the boys were getting antsy! You know them. They don't like to have to stay too long in one place!

I'll bet you went R&R "in-country" and were soaking up the sun down at Vung Tau. Welcome back to G-Town.
