My thought is if you're dead then you shouldn't have anymore worries..at least earthly ones
Quite a life you have "carved" out for yourself my friend.
One of 2 cats passed away about a week and a half ago, I was the one that found her and the one that buried her too. I felt bad about her passing, but more I felt really bad for my children for we had to break the news to them. The cat had been not quite itself for a couple of days, my thinking was that due to the heat wave we had it made her kind of sluggish. I told them if the cat was still off her game I'd take her to the vet that Monday, but that Sunday morning I went outside to look for her, and when I saw her my worst fears were confirmed. There she lay in the grass looking so peaceful, like she had just went to sleep.
It's like my car, as long as it starts in the morning and gets me from point A to point B I am happy. As with my body, as long as I can get up and accomplish the things I need to do I am satisfied
Maybe you might take in a "Yankee" game
Is nothing wrong with watching television, as long as your brain doesn't start oozing out your ears (one of the things my mother use to stress upon us as kids, though I have never known that to happen to anybody I ever knew). But now I want to become an alligator hunting crab fisherman that drives an 18 wheeler on ice roads.
You are a medical marvel my friend
I appreciate the friendship that we have developed over the past few year's, in fact to me you are more then a friend you are family
I have worked several jobs where I interacted with the public, everything from an amusement park to mall security. I was amazed at some of the characters that I met, and pretty soon you learn how to deal with certain people.
We had a stretch earlier this summer where it rained everyday for almost 2 weeks. Then we end up with a weeks worth of oppressive heat, Today as a cold front comes through the heat will be replaced with cooler temps and lower humidity.
You should save your strength, you might suffer some kind of blow-out.
I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers Larry, I hope you are better soon
I am reminded of a line I heard from the tv show MASH, Hawkeye Pierce was talking about war. He said that war is war and hell is hell, and of the two war is the most evil. Because in hell they're no innocent bystanders but in war they're no innocent bystanders..only victims.
Jayden, I am so sorry for your loss..but as you said it she is no longer in pain.
Kristy, my wife is catholic and I haven't been much of anything. All my kids were baptized in a catholic church, and my 2 daughters attend catholic school. It's like a priest told me before I got married, you build upon what you have in common and work from there.
