My homage to JFK.
Yes I did my friend, and this is what I brought back.
Glad to hear that Jon is getting back his health
Martin keeps after me to write a book, and I am beginning to see his point of view. Mainly I have written as a form of therapy, and also I like to share my thoughts with others. I think though if you are to do it you need to be dedicated to it and the process, do the best you can and good luck.
I always wonder what type of advice our older selves would give our younger, and would we too stubborn to accept that advice. I have a laundry list of things I would have liked to let myself in on, and I think at the top of the list would have been to study harder & smarter in school. I wasn't an idiot but I wasted a lot of potential by just eking through instead of reaching farther.
A lost art, that those in the food industry should take heed to
As I was only 5 years old at the time the impact of such an event was lost on me. I look at how the events unfolded that day, and I can only imagine what impact that they had upon this country and it's citizens. Whatever JFK was as a human being, was just that..a man that had his flaws and shortcomings. Presidents are not perfect nor infallible, and to try to represent them as such is wishful thinking.
This was inspired by Ernest Hemmingway
It is time to revolt.....
Nice to have a pov from the "other side" of the table.
I wrote this a few years ago, and seeing October is breast cancer awareness month I thought I would share this.
You know life is full of would've, could've, and should've's. But you are right about people confronting their fears when it comes to health issues, it's too bad it turned out like it did. Extending the invitation was a thoughtful gesture, especially about bringing a friend.
I am so happy for you two, I wish you many years of joy and happiness
