In politics one person trying to do the right thing is an uphill climb, and I think that was a lesson our President is learning. There must be a certain level of cooperation to attain certain parts of both agendas, without that you create an atmosphere of distrust and gridlock. I think that this is the trap a lot of politicians fall into, you can promise anything you want...but delivering it is (as the driver says in the Wizard of Oz says)"is a horse of a different color".
That person driving next to me..either talking/and or texting when they should be paying attention. Or that person who had one more drink then they should of and decided to get behind the wheel. Or that person that was chewed out by their boss, for something they either did or didn't do. Well I have no compassion for these people whatsoever, and I will make no apologies for that.
Back when there was glamor in Hollywood, a time far removed from what we have now.
They're will always be people like this preying on the fears of a segment of the population that are gullible enough to believe in what they are saying. A look at history shows us that they are like shooting stars, burn brightly and then fade and fall to earth. These people tell us "hey you don't need to think for yourselves, we got you covered". Well no thanks, I may not have a college education but I do know when someone is handing me a bag of crap.
Life is all about individuality..there is no trick in being the same as the next person.
It's fantastic scenery..but seeing how I am not a fan of heights I think this is the closest I will come to taking this journey.
For the most part advances in technology have aided us in living longer, and more productive lives. But sometimes you have to wonder at what price this has come at, at least from an ethics standpoint. I think what has suffered most is the art of communication, whether it be talking to someone face to face or writing a letter. I fear the day will come when you won't have to sit in a church pew, you'll be able to attend church via the internet.
Instead of bailing out all these companies I think they should've just paid every citizens debt..so they owed nothing. Start everyone off with a clean slate..of course it'd be a one time deal.

I'd like to believe I would be open-minded enough to accept whatever my child choose to do in their lives, and that I would support them to that end. I love my kids more then life itself, and my only wish is that they are happy and that life is good to them.
And Bill Clinton has walked away from this with his reputation intact
They're are people that are so unethical about the way they do business it's no wonder we are so cynical. Line them up and drop them...

I spent 3 years in Germany and never made it to Holland, my loss..the pictures are awesome. Might be a place I'd like to go when I retire.
