New Wheels for Holly

Holly and Bevan have been car shopping for the last three months for a new car for her.  She has been driving the same car now for eight years, so she was due some new wheels.
They have looked at everything from Fords to Mercedes.  She told me Saturday that she had narrowed it to a Mercedes or a Cadillac that they had looked at last week.
They had driven the Mercedes but not the Cadillac.  Saturday they drove it and Monday they bought it.  The Mercedes was only $2000 more, but Holly thought the Cadillac rode more smoothly.
Plus it was "OU Red," as she described it!  She loves red cars.  This will be her fourth red vehicle.  The minute she said it was red, I knew this is the one she would pick.
They waited til Holly got her 2010 bonus, so they wouldn't have to finance it.   Next year Bevan gets a new car.  Two years after that it will be Bailey's turn.

Yes, they do, and I think this car suits her perfectly; it reflects success with style...that's my Holly. An "uptown" girl all the way.

They have created a new image with the CTS, which is much sportier than the Deville.

Snazzy!

Yep! The most amazing thing about it is that it has no key. It is all controlled by the remote.

Great looking car! I like those new Caddy ads about how they aren't for stuffy people any more.

Now if it was a convertible I would be jealous!
I, too, love red cars--when, not if, I win the lotto red convertible is the first thing on the list!
Will she give Mom a ride now and then? Are kids allowed in it?

Yes, the kids and I have all already had a ride in it! LOL! The first car that Holly ever had was a red Mustang convertible that she got for her 16th birthday.

Those are the truly important things!

I had one that looked very similar to this one also, until I totalled it. I'll say one thing. I didn't get a scratch. I am proud of her; but not because of her financial success. I'm proud of her because she is a Christian and a great daughter, sister, wife, and mother.
