I thought I would post some outdoor shots first. The windows to the left are the garage with a side entrance. The french doors on the right arethe office. Holly and Bevan custom built this home in 2001-02 and moved in March of 02. When they moved to Illinois, the housing bust hit. Their purchase price dropped 50K in six months. They were forced to lease it. The people stayed in it until now; but they did a lot of damage inside. I have always loved the back of the house, which is where it has its classic lines. The windows here are the kitchen and the windows above are what was Bailey's bedroom but will now be Kenzie's because it has a window seat that opens as a giant toy box. The door to the right opens into the kitchen which flows into the great room. The back yard fence limited my getting a panoramic view. This is the next section. You see the kitchen door from the previous photo and the windows of the great room. Above it is the playroom. As you can see, the fence is going to have to be replaced, though that is not the tenants' fault. I wanted you to see the trees, though. Their entire back yard is surrounded on all three sides by trees. A creek runs behind their house. And, NOW! For the inside! The stairway, taped off for the trim to be repainted. The wall below is already repainted in a soft yellow. It looks brighter here than it actually is. The playroom, taped off and ready to be painted. These were taken earlier this week. It is now finished except for the baseboards and the French door coming into it. This is the final bath....the powder room where we are not quite finished. Looks simple, doesn't it? Take it from me. IT IS NOT SIMPLE NOR EASY. We stripped two more upstairs. (This photo is lying on its side, but you get the idea.) I have more that I will post later. I have to do some work on the photos first. They are too dark, but I have a program that will lighten them, Â
This is the master bedroom and the window on the far right is the master bath.
