In case you are wondering what the Webby Awards are...

Labeled the Oscar's of the internet, the Webby Award is an annual international award given by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Web Magazine started the Webby Awards back in 1996 as a way to award internet excellence in area's such as interactive advertising, on line movies, mobile, video and web sites. The awards have become an independent operation since the close of Web Magazine. Who makes up the Academy? Musicians, columnists, writers and editors.





By the way, if you are wondering what my friend Alex looks like, she and Norah Jones could pass for twins. Alex also sings and has her own band. She and her band perform in clubs in the Dallas area. I hope she will find the strength to begin performing again. It gives her joy and it provides joy to those who love to hear her sing.
