Fraught with Frustration

Sometimes I just feel like never posting again. Â We have a bunch of fanatics over on the other website who have been kicked off repeatedly and just keep coming back under another name.
They block their sites so no one can read what they write; then they come to our posts where we try to offer the voice of reason and to expose the lies we read from the bloviators, and berate us as complete idiots.
They are the antithesis of what they espouse....freedom of speech. Â They have the nerve to say that we are attacking their freedom of speech. Â Our posts are open for all; theirs are the ones that are closed.
Then I have someone who comes here, spies on me and reads every word I write. Â This individual has no interest in my life nor me. Â She is looking for any scrap of information she can use to discredit me in another's eyes.
That forces me to keep my posts completely impersonal because I will never give her the satisfaction of having even the slightest idea what's really going on in my life nor what my plans may be.
Nonetheless, it is frustrating that I cannot write about a number of topics that I might otherwise discuss with my friends here.

I haven't posted on Blogster but once since I came to MyBloggers, mainly because I don't have the energy to deal with two sites. I had no idea it had become this bad. I would like, when I have time, to call up each of my posted stories and copy them. Does anyone know a quick and easy way to do this? No? I didn't think so.

Little-whip was permanently banned but keeps coming back under new accounts and causing havoc. Three of her most recent ones were banned too. I already contacted Rica and Tony and still no joy...

Frankly, in my opinion, you should just write about what ever you wish over here. We like you. I never go over there anymore, not even to visit. And THAT's coming from a conservative. Go figure. They really embarrass me over there.

The people over there are not your average conservative. These are fanatical, far right extremists who will call a person any filthy name they choose, fill up your post with long, rambling junk, try their best to intimidate you and want nothing more than to get you angry so that they can report you for picking on them.

I finished with blogster a good while back. It has changed so much from when I began there what is it . . . 5 years ago?
It is a shame when you think it was so much like this place - Eddie deserves a medal for managing to give us that 'shangrila' again. Blogster has gone down hill rapidly, since he left it.

It certainly has. The new owners have added some nice features; but they don't have nearly a big enough server for all the features. Therefore, it is extremely slow. The site has been invaded by a group of fanatic right wingers with whom there is absolutely no reasoning.

I got banned over there for being someone's worst enemy. It was meant to be permanent but I got unbanned for a few weeks over Christmas. Then I came back to Jakarta and saw that my ip address has been banned and I cant access the site at all...now someone tells me my blog is disabled again and I didnt do anything. I hate that I cant access my posts...it took a lot for me to write some of those stories and I consider them my private property. I hate that I cant read what my friends over there are blogging about, and the Administration people just keep ignoring my emails.

What prompted me to leave the Volksturm over at Blogster were the plethora of really really radical wingnuts, and I don't mean just run-of-the-mill Conservatives, but people who probably go home and put on their armbands at night. I won't associate with Nazis or Fascists.

You are right. These are not your "down the street neighbor conservatives". These are, as you said, real militants. They thing Palin's militaristic, gun-totin', if you can't beat 'em at the ballot box, beat 'em with a gun, is just the cat's meow. This is the 10 per cent of the far, far, far right who are walking around with chips on their shoulder and a gun in their pocket. Scary people.
