Changes ... .

Well, on news from the homefront,  Mother continues to remain about the same.  She has such a strong will; I don't know how much longer she will continue to fight to live.
The big change in our family is that my grandson is now living with Holly and Bevan.  Something traumatic happened with his situation at his dad's home.  I don't know the details;   I only know that suddenly he wanted to leave.
The decision was made that he would live with Holly and Bevan.  They wanted him to move in with them when he went to live with his dad.
He has always held a special place in their hearts, and they are treating him so good.  They immediately ordered another airline ticket so that he can go on vacation with them in June to Florida as well as buying him new bedroom furniture, a new comforter, etc.
Bevan quickly took him to the golf course with him. His girls just aren't that into golf. He has given up on Bailey but continues to try to get Kenzie interested, even going so far as to buy her a set of children's clubs.
For the first time in his life, he will know what it is to be spoiled....and LOVED!!  Can't be all bad for him.  His mother has always loved him unconditionally, but she was a single mom struggling most of the time just to keep him clothed and fed.
Holly and Bevan can afford to give him things he has never had before, so I am hoping all that will have a positive effect on his self-esteem, which is pretty low right now.
And Bailey and Kenzie, who have absolutely always idolized  him, are thrilled beyond belief.   He is a great "big brother" also.  He takes time to play computer games with them, including Kenzie, whose games are way below his level of expertise.
The other day I was over there and he helped Kenzie put on a magic show for my "enjoyment."
I have such sweet grandchildren and such a loving family.   Here's hoping this works out for all of them.

That it is, and I'm hoping a good one for everybody.

I am so happy for your grandson and he will be what every girl needs...a big brother.

He has always been so sweet to his cousins. He also has a half-sister whom he loves dearly.

You didn't mention your grandson's name. Was that deliberate? I hope the new situation works out for all.

Not really. His name is Taylor.

Sounds like a life-saver for your grandson. Is this the kid who left the wet towels all over the floor for you to pick up, or was that a different one?

Nope! The same one. I have a feeling Holly will straighten him out in a hurry on that if he does it at her house.

It has always been my belief that a child can never be TOO loved or TOO spoiled.

Thank you so much, Marty. Living in this state of knowing the inevitable is so hard on all of us, but me especially.
