Up List

I'm one of those "glass half full" folks. I try to laugh as much as possible and read things that enlighten + uplift.

On Sunlight's post, there was a great list which inspired me to make up my own:

a) The chips may down but focus on your winnings so far

b) Don't take life too seriously...laugh a LOT

c) Instead of fuming at idiot drivers, keep cool by keeping a tape or CD of farts. Play as needed.

d) Worrying about something doesn't change it so find a healthy distraction

e) Make peace with your present so your sleep will have peace

f) Be grateful for small things

g) Everything changes...change can be good

h) If you know someone needs encouragement, a small gesture goes a long way

i) Serving someone/something minimizes personal woes

j) Make sure your circle of friends know it

Get your hands on that fart cd!

My father told me, "If you worry about something once, then why worry about it again? You've already worried enough." He got it from Dale Carnegie, a man who dispensed very useful common sense.
