Help!

I just found out that the headhunting agency told me to bring my birth certificate, my ssn card, or my passport to the interview.

All of these are in my storage unit (much to my dismay and surprise). Called the SSN office, but the automated system only gathers info so they can send you a form.

Thoughts? I'm at a loss and could use some wisdom right now.

Have photo DLs become so easy to obtain fraudulently that this has become necessary for someone to prove who they are? Geez. When are they going to start implanting ID chips into newborns?

sorry.. unless you can go to the vital records office it may be hard. Of course, some states have that info online if you give them a credit card, etc. Like Fredo, I have several copies of each within arms length should I need someone to fax or send.

Always have your passport close at hand. I used mine this morning as my second photo ID to vote (the other was on my drivers license.) Keep your SS card in your purse/wallet. Always. Call the headhunter and explain.

The original in a safety deposit.

I would not send them anything.Unless it is in person.
Do not trust them.
