I am now free of all boots, etc. on my broken ankle. It is still very bruised and swollen, but the Dr. said that was normal. Now my Lucy dog is also free from boots, etc. on her leg.
The biopsy came back as something melanoma, so I am sad about it. But will love her until it takes over her body, then we will gently send her on her way to dog heaven. The Vet told me that it might flair up in her lungs. Said she might develop a bad cough. Lucy is gong to be 11 years old in November, so we decided she didn't need to go through Kemo, etc. He told me it would be very expensive and she might not be the same dog afterwards. He agreed with me that she just needed to live out her life as it goes.
Heard from all 3 of my granddaughters yesterday. Two called and the other e-mailed from Amsterdam. They are all so sweet and seem to love both me and my sister a lot. I am a lucky woman.
Bought the youngest ggson a cute outfit. It has a horses head on the jacket and a tail on the pants. Can't wait to see him in it. Have to take the jacket back, as they forgot to removed the tag on it. It is one of those that sounds as you walk out. Heard it, but it didn't register that it was me. And one of their help was with me carring a large planter.
Saw in the paper where there would be a reunion at my old school for those who graduated in 1940 to 1960. I plan to go, and don't know but one of my class mates who will be there. Maybe none.
