Didn't know it has been so long since I visit you. So much has happened since April. We finally hqve good help - I am so spoiled by now. Lois does all the cooking, goes grocery shopping when I don't want to go, does my ironing, and just about everything. I don't have to do anything I don't want to do.
My dear Lucy dog lost her eye-sight and developed such a high diabetis, that I had to have her put to sleep. She waws 12 years oldand was not happy anymore, so it seemed the humane thing to do. Still miss my two dogs. Don't remember if I told you that my Annie had pnuemonia and her trachea collapsed, so I had to tell her good-bye also. She was the sweetest dog I ever owned.
I have a new baby - got her about 6 weeks ago from a shelter. She is 1/2 white miniature Schnauzer and the rest ? She is A bit of a problem now, but each week I see new progress. She devils our old Chihuahua and we are afraid she will injure her. I called her Bitsy, but it should have been Trouble. Ha!!
We have had the hottest summer I can remember in some time. Thank goodness for a new air conditioner. The poor thing has run very much this summer. As well as we have had a very dry year. The wild fires go close enough that the wind blew debre on my patio.
I have two new great granddaughters, Catherine Elizabeth and Ava Leigh. They are both adorable and I could spoil them if I saw them very often.
I didn't plan to bore you so much. See you soon.
