We have had unusually cold weather here this week and have more predicted for next week. I covered all my plants that I could, but know I will loose some. My nice grapefruit tree that grew so much last summer, will probably have to be cut back. Won't know until later. Also, my orange and lemon trees. The fig tree bit the dust last winter.

I do believe my leg is healing. I can feel the "hurt" being less each day. Didn't much trust the doctor's med - I have just been rubbing it on 4 times a day. But guess he was smarter than me. Ha!!!

Looks like most people with tickets to the Super Bowl in Dallas won't be able to get there. Hope the air-ports open up for them later. Dil, who flies for Continental had her trips to N.Y. city cancelled this week and had to do a run to New Orleans instead. She hates the short runs - like a bus local. Ha!!

This house has been so quiet this week. Seems like the two dogs left miss Annie. Lucy (my dog) has been very attentive to me this week. She is not a cuddly dog, but has tried to let me love her once a day. It is almost like cuddling a stick. MIght look for another baby this summer.
My kids will scream though.

Have been anxiously waiting for a new ggrand son since the last of January. This one is stubborn - like his Mother, Ha!! If he doesn't arrive this week-end, they will induce labor.
