Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day and today is cloudy and glum. I had hopes that spring was here, but ?????

My tulips from the last spring's planting are coming up. Three or four sprouts where one was last spring. They will be so beautiful in a few days. I didn't know they would come back a second year.

I am now walking on two fairly good ankles. Have been given the okay to take off the brace and try to go naturally. My leg and foot are so swollen that it is hard to do. The doctor said swelling was common though.

My Lucy dog will have surgery on her right front foot Monday, so I must get to the store for a neck-brace to keep her from taking off the bandages. She is a "foot" chewer all the time.

My sister's lady that comes in, has asked for Wednesdays off as well as Saturday and Sunday. That means a bit more responsibility for me. Thank goodness that I am feeling a more up-beat these days.

Have been working on income taxes for the two of us. It looks like both our incomes came down a lot this year. The lack of good interest on CD's did it. Now we both have to wait until our burial insurance decides to send our info for their part. They are always into March before we get it. I never can understand why when they make money, I have to pay the taxes and they get to keep the money. Ha!!
