The weather is so spring like, but we have had snow on February 14th. So. I'm not putting away the warm clothing yet.

I have an ankle brace now, instead of a huge boot, and can walk better. But my knee keeps grabbing and I have not yet been to the 'knee" doctor. They are so specialized here that the ankle doctor would not exray my knee!! Gee, I must ask who is the knee doctor here. I do not plan to have knee surgery, just hope I can find someone who will put a cortizone shot under my knee, as my old doctor did back in the good ole days.

My left leg is so swollen today, It is much larger than the right one. I guess I should be putting cold packs on it, maybe later.

I beat my shopping record yesterday. Did $133 on one good leg and a hurt knee. Ha!~! First time I had been to my favorite store since October. I also shopped for sister. She was happy with her new outfits. I love to shop - should have worked as a shopping assistant.

Looks like our stock market took a beating the last few days. My portfolio was going up a bit last month, but I don't know what this latest down size did. I just leave it up to my broker. He calls me a lot, when things are good, but seems to be ashamed when things are down. I know it's not his fault. Ha!!

My dil's brother in law had both a liver and a kidney transplant yesterday. The kidney is already functioning, but it will take the liver several days. Prayers for him, please. We'll call him JOe as I cannot remember his name. God will know who we mean.

Must get up and do my Saturday jobs, look at old movies, etc.
