Grim Reaper on Overload

OK, so we all knew Ed McMahon was going to die soon. He has had so many health problems plus he was in his 80's.  I still think he was the best "second banana" in the business.
Then Farrah passed on to her eternal resting place. The "Charlie's Angel" won her wings. She was a natural beauty. We knew her cancer was not going to go away but would take over her beautiful body and she would not win against this ugly thing.
Michael Jackson.  I never have been a fan of his music since he transformed from being an entertainer to a persona of the word freak. But, God rest his soul.
NOW...I read that the most anoying pitchman to ever hit the TV sound system has been found dead in his Florida home. The man who screeched about Oxyclean, dusting products and just about anything else to do with housework has died. He, too, was only 50 years on Earth.  I could not get to the "mute" button fast enough when I heard his voice boom from the TV as the commercial interrupted whatever I was watching at the moment.  Billy Mayes...his voice forever silenced by the 'mute button' from above.  I'm sorry about his untimely death and am sure the hearafter is a little louded now that he has arrived.
The Grim Reaper has been working overtime in the entertainment industry AND with everyday people.
Hmmm. Let's see now. A 34 year old man was shot to death in the parking lot of the local Chick-Fil-A this week. We are supposed to be a quiet little town nestled in the hills of NW Georgia.
A local 28 year old lady died as a result of an automobile crash in Nashville.
Soldiers died in foreign lands for their country.
Just goes to prove what my Grandmother (who lived to be 96!) used to say: When your time is up, you are gonna go.  Keep your bags packed and your soul clean.
Mz Scarlett...looking over her shoulder and walking carefully.
