Ooh... how do I sign up to be part of the Karma Club? I don't mind playing a patsy for some deserving a$$.
You're hilarious. I was nodding like a boggle head to most of these - especially the flavoured toothpaste and the forwarded emails. Oh and people who feed their pets people food. My husband's grandmother used to give her dogs those chocolate wagon wheels... now she only gives them cottage cheese.
Welcome back. Now, nighty night. Time to start that resolution of getting more sleep.
Sounds like a great cause.
Hope you enjoyed your day of relaxation. We've had TONS of snow storms this year... more than we've ever had before (since I've lived here anyway). And of course, all my stupid boots have heels. I'm always clinging to J's arm for dear life. I need some "real" snow boots.
Why is it that every time I write “Fâ€, you see “Kâ€? << Made me laugh out loud. Good luck with the swearing resolution. Maybe put a couple dollars in a jar every time you swear. By the end of the year you might have a nice little vacation fund. My word of choice when I'm really ticked is the four syllable mother. I only use it at home... which means that I must have some control over my language if I don't say it in public... of course, more mofo situations happen at home than anywhere else, and I have to say, it's sometimes a nice release. Other than that I don't swear too much... I don't think. Maybe I should start a tally too.
Congrats on the latest rewrite!! How exciting. I once knew a guy who swore a lot (actually, I've known a few..) One time I tried to illustrate how often he swore, and without him knowing, as he shared a story with everyone, I counted each f-word for one minute. Guess how many times he said it.... Seventeen! Seventeen f**ks in one minute! A little excessive, don't you think?
Aw, that's beautiful. You have to love a huge, warm, wonderful mess! I'm glad that you were able to tolerate your mother and that her presence didn't taint your enjoyment of the evening. Interesting that she decided to show up this year. Maybe she's learning some late lessons in life...?
Oh fun! I'd love a Wii! You can get quite a work out. As for hooking up electronic gadgets, it took us about a good two hours to figure out how to hook up our blue-ray machine to our TV, program it and learn how to simply turn on a movie.
Looks like you had a fun New Years. Sounds like a very cool restaurant too!
Nice couch! Love the microfiber. Our couch n' love seat set is the same colour and is also made of microfiber. I love it. It cleans up real nice too (which is handy when your MIL spills red wine all over it. ) Happy New Year.
These months might be the ugliest, but you really capture the imagery well! Stay warm.
Sounds like a wonderfully cozy evening... and that wine sounds delicious.
Happy Birthday! I hope this is an amazing year for you! Today is my mom's birthday too.
Oops... now I regret saying HNY in my last comment on your blog. J n' I always talk about how time seemed to go in slow motion when you're a child, and now it often whips by so quickly. Remember summer vacations? They felt like forever... now summer seems so fleeting. But that's probably because most people (besides teachers) don't get two months off to enjoy it... and well, I don't live in a warm place like you where it's summer all year round.
