I'm sorry you two can't be together every day, and I'm sorry that you hate your legs... but maybe in a roundabout way, it was those legs you curse that, in part, helped bring you two together in the first place. You are angels for one another.
Good luck. I hope you find a job that will help you make ends meet. Maybe babysitting or something that allows you to work from home? Places like that grocery store you found are always great for helping you save a few bucks. We live across the street from an expensive grocery store... and while the conveniences is nice, it's much cheaper to just spend the gas money and drive to the more affordable Superstore across town.
Nice pictures. I love the picture of Kota besides the turkey crossing sign.
That is HILARIOUS!
Wow! Your mom sounds like a real little firecracker! Of course, I can't say that I blame her one bit... Mr. T sounds like a creepy ol' guy.
Oh my gawd... that is HORRIBLE!
You are a true Detroiter... and I am truly lost. At least Marta's comment seems to explain it.
Good for you! But boy, that cake sure looks good though.
Glad to hear that everyone is healthy and happy. It's funny but if I let a few days go by without visiting blog land, I feel like I have all this important homework to do, catching up on my virtual friends.
Yeah, that is friggin' ridiculous about how men get paid more than women for the same job. Are we still in the Dark Ages? That's awesome news about pig success!!!Gawd, there HAS to be a job out there for someone with your qualifications in the non-profit sector... it will come!
A few years ago when my ex boyfriend got back into skateboarding, I warned him that he wasn't a teenager anymore and should take glucosamine supplements. As luck would have it, he busted up his elbow and required surgery. Later on, his physiotherapist exclaimed that he was the fastest healing patient she had ever seen. He credited the glucosamine, to which she said, "Well,I don't know what that is... but you sure healed up quick."
Marta took the words right out of my mouth -- what a class act indeed! You certainly raised your daughter right... and what a shame that her grandfather couldn't release his tired grudge. I wonder if a small part of hims is ashamed that he will never be as big a person as she.
Wow, unreal! Well that's one way to really get your point across! Serves him right.
