I read a church sign a couple weeks ago that said, "If you want to feel rich, count all the things you have that money can't buy." (And while I'm catching up on all your posts, congrats on being the featured blog. Very cool!)
The fact that it's so practical only makes the joke even funnier! So you say that's a universal remote, huh? Hmm... we have 4 separate remotes that we have to use, and I'm sure the four of them take up as much space on our coffee table as your one remote. We might as well switch too!
Oh dear gawd.... what a childish b*tch.
Oh wow! I LOVE the little devil. Too precious!
Good idea to hold out until after Christmas to get your bonus... but yeah, I'd completely agree -- $40 for a 4 hour interruption to your Sunday isn't worth it. You work hard all week and deserve your weekends off!
Congratulations!!! I hope you continue to enjoy standing ovations for your show's full three week run. I also love the idea for your Benny Hill addendum. Too funny!
I laughed out loud a couple times reading this.
Not like I need to say it again, but I'm really enjoying this.
Hope you had (are having) a WONDERFUL weekend.
Aww... it's nice to see you care about the creepy little thing, however, I have no advice for you. Fish flapping around in a net or a ladle totally freak me out too... I hope you managed to get through it and that Kevin adjusts well to his new home.
"I feel as though I always have something to fix, something wrong with me, something that needs changing." I'm sure Don would tell you that you're gorgeous just the way you are sans primping... but I guess it takes years longer to actually come to believe it yourself. No matter what you see in the mirror, know that you truly *are* an image of perfection... even on the crusty days.
Blegh, hope you are feeling better before Don's arrival. Oh wait, I'm reading this post way too late... so I hope you "did" feel better.
It might be the strangest Christmas yet... but who knows, there's always the random possibility that it might be the best yet too.
