I noticed the Freudian, "or will they spend Christmas dad with me". I wish I could lift some of the weight off your shoulders, but I'm so glad you have been blessed with someone like Don in your life, and that no matter how hard you push, he's only going to love you more. BTW, I LOVE the quote you used at the end.
I've seen that one before, but never the comment below!
I love bowling, but my score is usually on par with yours.
Good for you! I've heard people say that there's always a demand for baby food.
Too funny! Anytime I send J to the grocery store I always have to make a list, with directions on where he can find certain items in the store, and in some cases, what the vegetable/packaging looks like. He usually ends up calling me once or twice anyway.
Yuck. That's awful -- especially when there's so much to do with winter approaching. I hope you get better soon.
I've noticed that obesity has definitely become the norm. According to the Body Mass Index scale, I'm well within the right weight for my height, but I still can't help but get paranoid anytime I over-indulge (which actually ties into my most recent post.) I'd rather stay at the lower end of my proper weight than at the higher end. It almost seems that complacency is to blame... people pack on 10, then 20 pounds and say, "Well, I'm middle age. It happens. That's just how it is." But it doesn't have to be that way. My husband's family is all very obese, and I know that's a real motivator for him to stay fit as well.
Beautiful work!
Good grief... That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard! Who the hell is he to decide that freedom of speech is a mortal sin? Have another glass of communion vino, buddy.
Wow! That's unbelievable! Great story!
I really love the quote used in that cartoon.
Very interesting article. I think you hit the nail on the head when you wrote, "No one is out flaunting their virginity, because traditionally those who maintain it are much more modest than those who do not."
Great post! Donating to those less fortunate is so important. They need all the help they can get. We try to buy a little something to throw into the box every time we go grocery shopping.
