I've only had to shovel snow twice, but it was enough to be grateful I don't have to. Perhaps your wife should consider hibernating.
It's hard to believe there are still some who refuse to acknowledge global warming! Maybe this storm will hammer it into their heads, provided they can get them out of the sand long enough.
Awww... that's so cute! Good thing they can't operate the remote, though.
Hang in there! Sooner or later something will give and maybe you can let go of one of your jobs. I hope so, for your sake.
Sounds like a sensation indeed!
He'll be in my prayers.
That's amazing! I'm so happy for you!
Growing up in the Bay Area of CA, I remember the smog. I remember not being able to see from one side of the valley to the other. We complain a lot about the tough smog regulations that have been in effect for many years, but I have to say, our air quality is very noticeably better! But it will never compete with the 'see forever' skies of rural America. Glad you got to return to your farm!
My condolences for the loss of your dear friend.
Oh, gag! Talk about denial!
"If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear". We hear that scripture a lot in our church. It does give a person peace of mind. I'm sorry your hubby has to be out in it.
I heard it was a particularly noisy storm. Hope it's over soon for everyone.
It's illegal in many states to talk on the phone while driving. I was extremely reluctant to even get a cell phone. I have several people who like to talk my ear off and I didn't wanted to make myself that available. Having a cell phone has forced me to learn that just because it rings, doesn't mean I have to answer.
