None the Wiser!

I suppose, realistically, I shouldn't keep assuming that a weekend away camping will be without it's hic-cups! That's what it's all about though isn'tit, tent's braking, weathermen screwing up the weather reports, kids getting sick, parties that last more than 3 days etc. It's all part of the package....or is it!!! The later I can deal with; but what happened last night - you couldn't fortell that! :(

1:30am this morning heard a car skid out of control..,my first thought as I layed in bed with one eye open was 'did I just dream that? 1:30:10am ***Boooom***(Joss and I get up and are heading towards the plume of smoke in front of us guiding our way in our jim jams - presuming a caravan had just exploded) We come to the driveway of our peacefull little park and watch a car explodes into flames. (((((((Booooom))))) tyres go :/ We had arrived at the driveway to the caravan park, people were screaming murders that their are people in the car. Your stomach sinks! I've witnessed many cars - burn - dumped in my street and then burnt out, on occasions people have yelled theres someone in the car; yet as close as you can get to the car 'which is in feet' you still CANNOT SEE INSIDE because the flames are so bright! Hard to imagine isn't it!

The fire brigade battle away! The sickening feeling inside never eases. I couldn't see for the flames, residents all around were crying and screaming people are inside; sirens are blaring, people are running around crazy; I was just focussed on the drivers seat!!!!...

The firemen were standing a least 10 feet away! Thats about how close anybody ould have got to that car. One group of people yell out someones name - that person turned up 'was assumed missing' but was hugged in relief that it wasn't them. Other campers were besides themselves. It wa so un-real! Fluck come to think of it, the amount of kids that were there - chit! Raise an eyebrow!!! We were all ushered away before anyone knew exactly he full scope. None of us were any wiser wether the car came off the dual carraige way alongside the caravan park or wether it was one of us campers?!!

I know all the caravans around me had their curtains drawn all day, even when left for home they were still closed. I just prayed to God that that person got out of that car :( <333

I haven't seen the local news yet. :(

I will never forget when I was in the truck with Chris, many moons ago, when, traveling down a motorway - the M4 in Wiltshire, on the opposite lane, a guy jumped off the overhead footbridge - straight into the path of a truck. I cried all the way home - horrible. My heart also went out to the 'truck driver' - imagine how he must have been feeling. A totally thoughtless act.

I know, my cctv prob caught all the bridge thing. They said it was the second this year. As far as I can bet my bottom dollar that was the first this year. Can't be arsed to rewind the footage, he was talked out of jumping, I guess the police won't be knocking

Stupid phone keeps posting unfinished replies! I feel for the people who feel suicidal, but another part of me sees these people seeing little kids watching what they're about to do - like mine, who live in the *landing vicinity*! Whole streets are in curfew, roads blocked and kids are left with that vision of what may be!

! I just mentioned it 'him indoors' ad he told me that you had texted him earlier (he forgot to tell me as he couldn't read it cos he didn't have his glasses on.
I hope that it was only the car - I glanced at the front page of the 'evening post' while I was in Morrisons earlier, but the headline was about the attempted suicide off the 'Ferry bridge.
Try not to dwell on it Lynnette
