Can I just swear now and get it over with!!! :P
No seriously, today tested every ounce of my nerves! I'm a rattled lady, this day has to end!
First off, 8am I just happened to remember I had an appointment with my accountant 2 towns away. Nightmare, running around like a headless chicken to get Layla off to grans house. I also had to wake James as-well (which most know isn't as straight forward as it seems) because he had an appointment with the Speech and Language! I didn't have time to wash my hair, so I looked like I just finished a shift in Burger King Bleh! Can't imagine what the therapist thought *snigger*. Those 2 appointments alone took more than half the day alone, I really didn't expect that. I imagined being back indoors by 11am and chilaxing in the Garden. Huh!!!
Then the fun really started; we discovered that a company we've been using had decided to change solicitors and it's actual name. Breech of contract alarm bells started to ring. I swear it took me a good 3 hours to get through to the right people and sort my affairs out, but not before checking to see if this new company was legally registered! Freaking pain in the head that was I can tell you. I was in tears at one point! I was so frustrated. I sucked it in and promised myself that I would drive everyone into retirement before they hung the phone up on me again, I wasn't going to fear reprisals - I kept shaking my head in dis-belief - I wasn't going to take no more!
I left straight for work after that. I felt a little more relieved that I had sorted that issue out but my sense of calm was only to be short lived. I found out why the police and helicopters were all over our village. There was a man with a riffle lurking in the grounds of my karate venue! I nearly fell in a freaking heap WTF!!! There was already 15 kids in the dojo while there was an armed lurker in the vicinity. I couldn't freaking believe it - why freaking me! I thought 'no more' pleeease!! Nothing became of it though. Everyone managed to come and go with no ballyhoo. I was on every nerve for those few hours. I'm home now thank Gawd! I'm waiting to watch the welsh news to see if anything has been mentioned. But first things first, I'm going to take a double dose of my panic attack tablets tonight - thats for sure!
