I am amazed of late...

There are SOOOO many different forums taking up animal rights issues! I have been a veg head for 15 years, so I have been paying attention for some time. I AM LOVING IT LATELY!

So, if you want to sign an automatic email against testing on pigs (who are often smarter than 3 year olds) check out this webpage
it's from a physicians website against John Hopkins not using live pigs anymore for their practice. Apparently they are the only top 20 medical school who still uses live animals.

Then there is the Farm Sanctuary... Gene Baur wrote the book 'Farm Sanctuary' which is getting a LOT of press. Love it. Here he is on the news (click on the video link above the blurb) Kusi TV

There is also a forum called care2 where I have signed many petitions regarding green awareness, polititians, etc etc etc and now??? The headline was "End horrific conditions for farm animals on factory farms" KICK ASS!

Finally, it seems an awareness has been evoked. I think it took the Humane Societies AWFUL footage of the downed cow,if you want footage of that visit the humane society or ask me, I will find it... but seriously people. That's one of the MAJOR reasons I do not eat meat, and it seems that maybe America is waking up a bit.
