We had a lot of fun indeed!

My favorite was Party for the Pigs in DC. It was sooo much fun. We met some people who were VERY cool. It was so funny talking to this girl who pretty much said things that I feel. For instance she said she didn't care when people ordered meat in front of her, but when they only ate half of it and threw the rest out she wanted to scream. I was like I KNOW!!! It's so funny. I need to hang out with more veg heads, obviously.

We heard amazing stories of survival of these pigs. We also heard about the many dead pigs with gunshot wounds in them because people weren't sure if they were friendly or not, so after they suffered for days and got to dry land some were shot. Can you imagine? Gawd it breaks my heart.

So the Farm Sanctuary rescued some of the pigs, and many of them are already adopted out. Some were not adopted though, they will be staying at the farm. At the end of the speech they asked for sponsors, every last pig was sponsored. I wanted to sponsor one SOOOO BADLY! It is truly something I want to do in the future, if I can't adopt my own! :0)

After that event we went to our fave watering hole. I truly adore that place! We had a great day overall!

Yesterday my Packers won. YAY! The Jet's lost in overtime which was sad to me but hey, they gave it a good shot! That was fun as well.

I adore my weekends. I wish I worked two days a week so I could have 5 day weekends every week. Ah, dare to dream. haha
