M and I took a trip this past week on the motorcycles. We left on Monday afternoon and got back on Wednesday afternoon.
When we left we rode out to Pigeon Forge and stopped for the night. The next morning we headed on out to Knoxville and hit the Knoxville Zoo. This is something we tend to do every year and here are a bunch of pictures from the Zoo!

I like this photo because it looks almost like a painting more than a picture. I had the camera on a longer exposure and the ducks were moving too fast for it and this is what I got!
 

 Black bear. This guy was bunches bigger than the one we have near our house!
 

 Red Panda in the new exhibit that was built last year.
 

 White Rhino. Did you know that the white rhino is mis-named due to the stupid white guys not listening to what the natives were saying? The original name is "Widge" meaning "flat-lipped" and was corrupted by the whites thinking they were saying "white."
 

 Huge tortoise had it head stuck out of the enclosure and the kids were coming along and petting him!
 
 
 Meerkats! My wife wants one but I had to say no...
 

 
 

 Baby chimpanzee. This little guy was so adorable, and we all got a kick out of his little stuffed animal too!
 
 

 Not to be out done by a chimp, this gibbon showed off his stuffed elephant for us!

 This is the next day, Wednesday, up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Up at that altitude it was mighty cold and M is wearing just about every bit of clothing she had with her!
 

That is M's bike in front and mine is in back. M has her hands in her pockets trying to warm them up!
