Back in the saddle, baby! ( I changed this post to reflect the new web Site…)

I know it’s been forever since I last posted anything, but I figure its my blog and I’ll do what I want!

You see, I live a busy, but boring life. And for some reason I thought I was writing these posts for you people out there and not for myself. Which is the wrong way to think of a personal blog. This should be just for me and I “allow” y'all to kinda look over my shoulder and peek into my life. But I have to admit, I like it when y'all make favorable comments and maybe that's where I went wrong.

Since the big Blogster change-over at the beginning of the year many of the good friends I had here went elsewhere. I started to get fewer and fewer comments on anything I wrote.

Then it became hard to keep track of all of the various websites in order to keep in touch with them all.

I thought about starting all over again somewhere else as well, but I have so much of the last few years here that I didn't want to begin all over.

Ahem:

I probably should start with some kind of re-introduction for those of you who don't know me yet. This way I can introduce the main people (and critters) in my life.

I am a proud Redneck Hill-Billy Biker from East Tennessee. I began life as a Yankee growing up in Michigan and became a Damn Yankee when I moved here. (You know the difference, right? A Yankee comes South to visit and then goes back North. A Damn Yankee comes South to stay!) I am long-haired, tattooed, pierced and I generally look like those guys yer parents warned you about as a kid. And you either wanted to date 'em, or be like 'em despite what your parents thought! And basically I’m built like an NFL running back, 5’ 10” and between 235 and 240 pounds.

My beautiful wife goes by M here on the blog, not to keep her real name a secret, but it's a lot quicker than writing her whole name every time I mention her. Which will be often, just so you know. Last year she had Lap-Band surgery on her stomach in order to lose weight. The day before surgery she weighed 269 pounds and now she is almost under 200 pounds. Her "ideal" weight is closer to 140-160 pounds so we have a little way to go yet.
