I have printed out four of my favorite photographs and two of my poems and have completed the paperwork to submit them all to the next issue of “Echoes and Images” the college’s literary magazine. Next time I get to school I will submit them to the proper office. I won’t know until early in the Spring semester if any of them were picked for the magazine. First place is $50, second place is $35 and third is $25. I have no pretences about my work. It’s strictly amateur, but who knows if they will like them or not? Ya gotta try before you can succeed or fail, right?

On a totally different track, I managed to pick up whatever M had a couple of weeks ago. I’ve got a sore throat and I can feel the crud starting to load up in my chest. I just hope it’s not too bad because I have a ton of work due in the next week and a half at school. I stayed home today in the hopes that I can get ahead of the crud and get better more quickly.

Well it’s off to bed for me. I think…
